Hello, my name is Kenny. Originally from Palmerston North and now based in Auckland, my journey began in graphic design—but it was photography that truly captured my heart. What started as a creative curiosity has grown into a full-time passion. For me, photography is like an endless game with no level cap—there’s always more to learn, more to refine, and it keeps pulling me in. I honestly can’t imagine ever putting the camera down.

Wedding photography, in particular, is both a challenge and a thrill. While venues, food, and schedules may repeat, no two weddings are ever the same. Each one tells a unique story, and I find deep joy in capturing those once-in-a-lifetime moments in an honest and creative way. Since starting this journey in 2014, I’ve been grateful to receive recognition through photography competitions and to have my work featured across various social media platforms.

My photography style is best described as imaginative, elegant, artistic, moody, warm, and soft—reminiscent of the timeless film era, enhanced with a modern digital touch. I specialise in capturing candid, honest moments using a reportage approach, working unobtrusively so you and your guests can feel relaxed and fully present. My goal is to document your day as it naturally unfolds, highlighting the meaningful details and people who matter most to you.

As a creative at heart, I love crafting fine art imagery whether through the play of light, the use of depth, or creative reflections. I bring a thoughtful, artistic eye to every frame.

I have a deep passion for photography, and my camera gears is like my cherished collection. I adore my old retro cameras, and from time to time, I load a roll of film and capture images with them. I appreciate how these vintage cameras strip away all the modern technology associated with photography, allowing me to relish the pure joy of capturing moments with analog equipment. The mechanical workings and the satisfying sound of the shutter never cease to fascinate me.

I used to think she was the clingy one, but it turns out I’m just as attached to her, maybe even more and yes she loves it!

Exploration:

I have a deep passion for exploration, whether it involves discovering new places or immersing myself in natural environments. Being near water, sand, or surrounded by nature has a calming and soothing effect on both my mind and body.

Street Photography:

Just walking around with my camera, capturing anything I found interesting, is what first sparked my love for photography. It taught me to observe quietly, to appreciate the beauty in everyday moments, and to tell stories without words. That same mindset naturally led me to wedding photography, where a similar unobtrusive style allows me to document real, meaningful moments as they unfold—genuine emotions, fleeting glances, and quiet details that might otherwise go unnoticed.
